Thanks to the quick actions of a few heroes, the sky was a little less scary earlier today. Making all the celebrity news headlines, singer Richard Marx stepped into to subdue an unruly passenger while onboard a Korean Air flight on Tuesday (December 20).
Marx’s wife, fashion designer Daisy Fuentes, shared photos of the drama as it went down on the flight from Hanoi, Vietnam, to Seoul, South Korea
“A guy sitting in the next row from us got crazy & started attacking the flight attendants & passengers,” Daisy wrote on Instagram.
“When he started pushing the female staff and pulling them by the hair, @therichardmarx was the first to help subdue him.”
You will be hearing about our flight#480 on @KoreanAir_KE . Passenger next to us attacked passengers and crew. Crew completely ill trained.

Looks like he was “Right Here Waiting” to save the day!
Daisy continued, “This went on for FOUR hrs. I feel horrible for the abuse the staff had to endure, but no one was prepared for this. They never fully got control of him. They didn’t know how to use the taser & they didn’t know how to secure the rope around him. (He got loose from their rope restraints 3 times.)”
Marx also shared multiple Tweets and images from his personal account after stepping in to help the flustered staff.
Marx stepped over to the man with a rope in hand that the flight attendants used to tie the man down to an airplane seat.

It sounds like chaos! The plane did land safely and there are no reported injuries. The man the caused the disruption was arrested after the plane landed, according to TMZ.
Marx shared a Tweet to let his fans know that he and Daisy made it home safely.
Daisy and I are home safe and sound. No big “hero” move at all. Just did what I would hope anyone would do in same situation. Tnx 4 concern

Prior to the disruptive flight, the couple enjoyed a visit to Vietnam where Marx performed at the opera house. They celebrate their one-year anniversary this weekend! Congrats.
