This past weekend over 20,000 country music fans gathered in Las Vegas for the outdoor Route 91 Harvest Festival, a 3-day country music festival featuring performers like Eric Church, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean.
Sunday night, the last night of the concert, a lone gunman used up to 20 rifles to sniper the crowd with a barrage of rapid-fire bullets from the 32nd floor window of the Mandalay Bay Hotel located across the street from the main stage. After more than 10 minutes of horrific terror, at least 59 people have been reported killed and over 500 more injured.
This has been categorized as the worst mass shooting in modern American History.
