The Teen Project is getting set to host its big Hollywood Red Carpet Event tonight, October 12, 2015. It will be an exclusive VIP private event affair held at the Chinese 6 Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, with all proceeds going to benefit homeless youth in Los Angeles.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception starting at 7:00pm, with a red carpet outside, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction with many great items up for bid. The show starts at 8:00 and will be hosted by FOX 11’s Christine Devine, who is responsible for more than 500 adoptions of foster children through her work with Wednesday’s Child. Cody Saintgnue (Teen Wolf) will share his own story of hope. He came from very humble beginnings and entered foster care at the age of nine.
Devine, Saintgnue and other special guests will entertain the audience along with music star, Lotis Jackson. During the event, AnnaLynne McCord (90210, Nip/Tuck, Dallas) will be honored by The Teen Project for her efforts to help the organization over the years.
Obviously, the most important aspect of this star-studded red carpet event is to raise money for The Teen Project’s HomeMore program to aid homeless youth in Los Angeles. The sad truth is there are roughly 1.5 million homeless youth in America and 50% of foster kids are homeless. The Teen Project hopes to re-write this story by finding more at-risk children a good home.
Looking forward to attending @TheTeenProject save LA’s homeless youth event tonight.

The Teen Project is a nonprofit organization that works to move youth from the streets to safe housing, education and job obtainment quickly. Founder Lauri Burns created the organization in response to the neglected resources and amenities needed for young woman after foster care, and the outreach has grown into many other areas over the years. Their mission is to give every child an equal chance at life. The Transition Age Youth (TAY) population is a distinct population with extraordinary needs. The vast majority of The Teen Project’s budget goes towards getting these kids into homes.
Other stars expected to attend The Teen Project Hollywood Red Carpet Event are Max George (The Wanted), Blake Griffin (NBA), Abigail Savage (Orange Is The New Black), Diane Guerrero (Orange Is The New Black), Julie Lake (Orange Is The New Black), McNally Sagal (Sons of Anarchy), Calum Worthy (Disney Star), The Rhodes Brothers (Scream Queens), Khleo Thomas (Holes), Denzel Whitaker (Abduction), Liliana Mumy (Cheaper by the Dozen), Katy Cleary (ANTM), Patsy Palmer (Eastenders), Trina McGee (Boy Meets World), and Sophie Simmons (Gene’s Simmons: Family Jewels).
