Ahead of his first stadium tour of North America, the Biebs quietly swung by the Children’s Hospital of Orange County on Monday, July 17 to surprise some of his biggest fans. Of course, being the mega star that he is, word of Bieber’s visit quickly made its way to the web, thanks in large part to some heart-melting pics.

“Today I got a once in a life time chance to share a heart to heart conversation, several smiles, hugs, but most importantly a beautiful prayer that @justinbieber said,” Brittney Cruz wrote on Instagram. “This is the side the world deserves to see of him. His beautiful soul and personality that definitely touched my heart forever.”

The “Boyfriend” singer also won the hearts of patient Vicky Runner and her mother Brandie Runner, who shared a video of her daughter meeting Bieber for the first time.

Bieber can be heard telling Brandie to turn off her phone at the end of the clip. The elder Runner clearly took that as a sign that the 23-year-old wasn’t there for publicity.
