Walker died five years ago when the Porsche he was riding in struck a light pole in Santa Clarita, Calif. The accident reportedly happened right after he left an event for his disaster relief charity Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Now, Xbox is partnering with ROWW for this year’s Game4Paul event to celebrate the actor and the nonprofit he created.

ROWW and Xbox will host a live streamed show featuring over six hours of celebrity guests, games, giveaways, and more. Xbox will showcase several new games during the broadcast, including “Forza Motorsport 7.” It will also give away a custom Xbox One X console.

“Through Reach Out WorldWide, Paul Walker helped make a tremendous impact in communities all over the world,” said Aaron Greenberg, GM of Games Marketing at Xbox, on the Game4Paul Tiltify website. “Xbox is very proud to help Cody and team continue Paul’s legacy, and we look forward to seeing how many Xbox fans join in giving back to such a great cause.”

“With all of the recent storms recently hitting the U.S., this event is extremely important to ROWW and the people we are helping right now. Our family is excited to be joined once again by some of Paul’s closest friends and co-stars for this great event, and help raise money for ROWW’s relief efforts on the east coast and around the world,” said Cody Walker, Paul’s brother and CEO of Reach Out WorldWide.

Xbox said it will reveal more details about the prizes and content viewers can expect to see in the coming weeks. People can watch it all on the Mixer Xbox channel, Twitch Xbox channel, or Cody Walker’s Facebook page.

Since then, there have been informal fan memorials for Walker, but the first sanctioned event has finally been slated. The In Memory of Paul Car Hangout will be held at the College of the Canyons in Valencia May 20.

“The Santa Clarita Valley community sure came together after the crash and tried to help in any way possible – it was an act of love and compassion,” In Memory of Paul Car Hangout organizer Chris Lee said in a press release. “I see the Car Hangout as an extension of that, for this community to come together again and help the organization Paul left behind that does amazing things for people who cannot help themselves. To me, it’s a reflection of God’s love for us.”

Lee never met Walker, but admired how he worked to help others. Lee, owner of sports training programs Starting5 and Starting6, got to know Caleb Walker and Cody Walker, and wanted to raise money for their brother’s Pasadena-based organization, which has continued. All admission and sponsorship proceeds for the In Memory of Paul Car Hangout will benefit Reach Out Worldwide.

The In Memory of Paul Car Hangout will feature a car show, including classic, imported and exotic vehicles, celebrity vehicles and cars built in Santa Clarita for the “Fast & Furious” films. There will also be celebrity appearances, vendors, food and more.

Vehicles are still being accepted for the show. The fee is $25 per car with a limit of two per person.
In addition to the event, a VIP lunch with Caleb Walker and Cody Walker is being offered for $250. It includes a goodie bag and a photo opportunity with the brothers.

While we’re not sure if his daughter Meadow or brothers Cody and Caleb Walker will appear in the film, we’re hoping his Fast and the Furious costar and close friend Vin Diesel will share some anecdotes and memories of the late actor.

“The film will explore Walker’s prolific film career and showcase a side of Paul few knew — from his passion for the world’s oceans and marine life to helping rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake,” the release reads. Filmmaker Derik Murray, who has also explored the lives of late actor Heath Ledger and JFK Jr., has teamed up with director Adrian Buitenhuis for the documentary.
