Now this funny group with big hearts wants you to join them for the 2017 festivities!

“To support a great cause, I am teaming up with Omaze to invite you and a friend to join me and my friends for a game of softball,” said Riggle in a video posted by Omaze.

The cause to which Riggle is referring is the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Recognized as one of the nation’s top pediatric medical centers, Children’s Mercy “provides comprehensive care to nearly 2,000 children each year with childhood cancers, sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders.”

“It’s going to be a bunch of middle-aged guys…in Kansas. It’s like Coachella except for a children’s hospital.” Rudd jokingly said.

In addition to playing in the softball game (which takes place at Kauffman Stadium – home of the Kansas City Royals), the lucky winner also gets to watch a Royals game from the Hall of Fame suite and VIP access to the Big Slick Bowling Tournament and exclusive party and auction. Airfare and accommodations are also covered.

A bevy of Hollywood stars (including Will Ferrell, Olivia Wilde, Johnny Knoxville, and Selena Gomez) have made appearances in past years and 2017 will be no different.

On this Throwback Thursday we go all the way back to the very first Big Slick in 2010 when our seemingly ambitious goal was to raise $50,000 for Children’s Mercy. Fast-forward to 2016, having raised over $3M in the last six years, and we’re just two weeks out from our SEVENTH Big Slick Celebrity Weekend. This is going to be the biggest and slickest ‪#‎BigSlickKC‬ yet!
