After heading to the West End and enjoying the incredible show from some of the best seats in the house, you’ll meet up with Kit backstage for a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic Vaudeville Theatre. You’ll see the detailed sets, props and incredible costumes all up close—and maybe even hear a story or two from rehearsal. His past characters may “know nothing,” but this will be everything. Mencap works to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and their families today, and fight alongside them for a better future. They envision a world where all people are valued equally, listened to and included. In a nutshell, Mencap tries to help in any area of a person’s life where they need support, and they team up with a network of over 400 local groups to do so. The services they provide range from round-the-clock care to helping someone join in with local leisure activities, and from providing information on things like employment and education to helping someone live independently for the first time.
