Love United and charity: water: Your donation will help bring clean and safe drinking water to people in need. Love United is a humanitarian mission, launched in 2017 by Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich to serve people around the world. For their first fundraising campaign, Love United has teamed up with charity: water, a nonprofit working to bring clean water to the 663 million people around the world who don’t have access to this fundamental human need. Access to clean water improves health, boosts local economies, empowers women and gives kids more time in school. charity: water funds water projects in developing countries and works with local partners to implement solutions that are sustainable and community-led. Since 2006, charity: water has funded more than 28,00 water projects in 26 countries, bringing clean water to 8.2 million people.
I Am Zambia: I Am Zambia focuses on providing no-cost, supplemental entrepreneurship education to vulnerable girls in the city of Lusaka and co-ed primary schooling in rural Mwembeshi Village. With more than a decade of on-the-ground humanitarian experience and the support of a highly qualified local staff, I Am Zambia is piloting a lean, holistic, outcome-based educational model that prepares students to find success in their communities as well as the global marketplace. Your donation will help their small and mighty team build schools, staff classrooms and empower young Zambians to thrive.
