For the third year in a row, actress and animal rights advocate Alison Eastwood hosted her celebrity friends (including father, Clint Eastwood), at the annual Art for Animals fundraiser.
The event, which took place on Friday, May 5 at De Re Gallery in Los Angeles, raised money through a silent auction of artwork for the Eastwood Ranch Foundation, a non-profit organization that rescues animals from high-kill shelters and provides them with care until they find a forever home.
“We are thrilled with the success of our third annual fundraiser evening and raising both funds and awareness for homeless pets in Southern California,” said Eastwood, who founded the organization.
“The community’s support and generosity means everything to us and the animals we rescue!”
We were lucky enough to speak with Alison last June on the red carpet of the 2nd annual fundraiser.
The 3rd annual event brought out more than just the Eastwood family (which included siblings Francesca Eastwood, Graylen Eastwood, and Morgan Eastwood in attendance), but stars such as Denise Richards, Juliette Lewis, Joanna Krupa, Khandi Alexander, Ian Somerhalder, and Nikki Reed as well.
Bids were placed on pieces of work from a variety of artists including Alexander Yulish, Brian Bowen Smith, and Danny Minnick. Proceeds from the event will also contribute to the construction of a brick and mortar rescue facility in Southern California.
