He’s a guardian of the galaxy in the #1 movie in the world and a raptor wrangler in one of the biggest movies of all-time, but Chris Pratt’s best role isn’t in a movie.
Like he’s done in the past, Pratt (along with Bryce Dallas Howard) made a visit to a London children’s hospital on Tuesday, May 9 bringing smiles to the faces of the young patients.
“Bryce and I had the tremendous pleasure of spending some time with our new buddy Elle and a few other patients at Great Ormand Street Children’s Hospital in London,” Pratt wrote in an Instagram post sharing a picture with his new friend (note: “Ormond” is the correct spelling of the hospital).
A non-denominational Christian, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star also shared a bible verse to express his joy in meeting the kids.
“I’ll never fail to be moved by the unbreakable spirit of a child. #godisgood Psalm 107:8-9 Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul.
“He fills the hungry soul with good. No doubt. Today my longing and hungry soul is filled.”
Howard also posted the same photo (which was originally shared by Instagram user Becky Whitfield) along with the caption: “So great meeting this sweet soul and many other strong, little warriors today at @greatormondst with @prattprattpratt.”
Pratt and Howard, who are currently filming the sequel to Jurassic World in England, also took a moment to pose with the staff of the hospital.
A few days before visiting the hospital, Pratt shared an exciting contest on his Instagram page in which the winner will get to visit him on set while he shoots the second installment of the revamped dino-series in Hawaii.
The contest is run through Crowd Rise and benefits his friend, 14-year-old Makenna Schwab, and the Seattle Children’s Hospital.
