Celebrating the best and brightest on the small screen, the 2016 Emmy Awards nominations were announcing this morning (July 14) in Los Angeles by “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’s” Lauren Graham.
The Emmys air live from the Microsoft Theater on September 18 at 7 pm EST on ABC and are hosted by late night funnyman, Jimmy Kimmel. He also hosted the Emmys in 2012.
As for the nominees, Best Drama Series hopefuls include “The Americans,” “Better Call Saul,” and “Game of Thrones.”
Shows vying for a win in the Best Comedy Series category include “Black-ish,” “Master of None,” and “Silicon Valley.”
As for Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Kyle Chandler, Rami Malek, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Rhys, Liev Schreiber, and Kevin Spacey will battle it out for the trophy.
