Taylor Swift took a break from the New York City streets to help a special fan celebrate his big day.
On Saturday (June 4), the “Forever and Always” singer surprised Max Singer and Kenya Smith by showing up at their wedding, which was held at the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Brant Beach, New Jersey.
In April, the groom’s sister Ali reached out to Taylor and told her about the death of their mother in a heartfelt letter. Ali wrote about how Max and Kenya wed in the hospital so their mom wouldn’t miss the big moment.
Also, Max and his mom’s wedding dance was to Taylor’s hit “Blank Space” because the groom is a huge fan.
Swift received the message and celebrated with the couple. She even performed “Blank Space” by singing and playing the keyboard while the wedding guests danced the night away.
Plenty of family members captured the awesome moment, sharing messages on social media. “REMEMBER WHEN TAYLOR SWIFT CRASHED MY SISTER’S WEDDING,” Kenya’s sister Ashley shared.

Swift didn’t come empty handed, either. The 26-year-old singer made a personalized card with watercolors for the happy couple, which read, “So it’s gonna be forever.”
