Our goal here at GoodCelebrity.com is to combat the negative headlines and report on positivity, and it looks like “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams is on board.
Over the weekend, the actress attended the Summer Masquerade Ball to support NSPCC, an organization close to her heart. NSPCC is a UK-based nonprofit that fights to child’s rights and fights abuse.
Williams helped the organization raise funds to continue its mission during the charity event, but one publication focused on her sheer wardrobe rather than the important cause.
Proving she’s not afraid to speak her mind, similar to her HBO-series character Arya, Williams’ shared an alternate headline for the story on her Twitter, writing, “Alternative Game of Thrones actor, Maisie Williams, helps raise thousands at a Summer Masquerade Ball for @NSPCC.”
