The Avalon was the place to be over the past weekend as Lights Camera Cure (LCC) held its 5th Annual Hollywood Dance Marathon. The Los Angeles-based charity brought together famous faces at the fun event to raise awareness for pediatric cancer patient support and research.
The guest list included NFL star Terrell Owens, “The Walking Dead’s” Neil Brown Jr., “Teen Beach Movie’s” Garrett Clayton, “Awkward’s” Jillian Rose Reed and “Crash & Bernstein’s” Landry Bender.
Good Celebrity was on the red carpet to capture all the fun!
LCC’s dance marathon featured a high-energy party featuring continuous entertainment including a performance by former Disney actress Alyson Stoner of her new single “Woman.” There was also a silent auction and DJ performances to keep the guests grooving. Also, Devon Wekrheiser and Sean Marquette served as the night’s hosts.
Meanwhile, “Nashville” star Clare Bowen was recognized for her long-time efforts to raise awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer with the inaugural “Lights Camera Cure Spotlight Award.”
According to a release from LCC, “The award was presented to Clare in recognition of her passion and dedication in shining a spotlight on this cause, along with her bravery in sharing her childhood cancer story to give hope to children and families battling pediatric cancer that they can cope and succeed.”
The Hollywood Dance Marathon raised $124,597. The proceeds from the event benefit the pediatric cancer programs at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
