GoodCelebrity.com was on hand to provide coverage at the Danse Avec Clairobscur (or Dance with Clairobscur) VIP fundraising event which took place on November 5th, 2015 at the Aventine in Hollywood, CA. Laurie Sefton, founder and choreographer at Clairobscur Dance Company showcased her unique and issue-based work whilst celebrating with Hollywood elite.
The event opened at 7pm with a VIP reception and red carpet, followed by a night of celebration with cocktails and h’ors doeurves. Ms. Sefton showcased a piece from her portfolio on the dance floor under the fairy lights on the patio and entertainment was provided by guest DJ Emma Ford.
Good Celebrity’s red carpet interviews included Laurie Sefton (Choreographer), Katie Cleary (Actress), Ellen Hollman (Actress), Jenna Lind (Actress), Briana Evigan (Actress/Dancer), Izabella Miko (Actress), and Blake Cooper Griffin (Actor).
The event was thrilled to have Candy Ice Jewelry as its title sponsor, who dressed the celebrities and Ms Sefton in their signature earrings for the event.
Comedian Raj Sharma hosted a pledge drive that saw Clairobscur Dance Company raise money to continue their important work, which is currently addressing climate change and its impact on the environment. Guests will be treated to gift bags as they leave.
A Southern California native, Laurie’s work and art extends and expand upon her unique upbringing. Clairobscur Dance Company serves at the embodiment and vehicle for Laurie’s artistic expression and provides a platform for her ideas and emotions. Laurie is a producer, director
and choreographer.
