Ted 2 actress Amanda Seyfried has become worried about her child bearing abilities. In a recent interview with Marie Claire, she mentions she’s had a hankering throughout the last two years to have children. Seyfried, currently dating actor Justin Long, talks about nearing her 30th birthday and wanting badly to have children.
According to Marie Claire, she admitted, “I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off. I need to get on it. I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That’s what I feel. I’ve been feeling it for like, two years.” She goes on to discuss having anxiety, but is taking the healthy road by going to therapy and keeping herself content. Seyfried says meeting her life goals has kept her constantly working and happy, but that it’s not simple. Having her first big role as Karen Smith in Mean Girls was a massive step for her acting career, but unfortunately made her typecast as the typical good looking, dumb blonde. “I’ve made some tough decisions too, I’ve turned down some pretty big stuff. I didn’t want to be an action hero or in a f**king green suit for like, 10 years, because I don’t want to be miserable. I think happiness comes form being free”, she confesses. She also discusses taking over for Mila Kunis as the female lead in Ted 2, which was released in theaters June 26th. Being a massive fan of Mila makes taking over a bit daunting, she admits, but hopes to do her proud, as well as director Seth McFarlane. Maybe she’ll follow in Mila’s footsteps and begin baby-making herself.
